What Are Your Long-Term Goals for Midwest Apologetics?

 by Tim Chaffey

This is a question to which I have not given a great deal of thought.  At this time, my first priority as far as work is concerned, is to Tri-State Christian School.  Midwest Apologetics is something that I am working on in my spare time.  Fortunately, as a teacher, the summer months provide me with enough free time to get a lot accomplished.

During the summer months I would like to be working full-time for Midwest Apologetics.  It would be great to be able to line up a speaking event or two for every weekend of the summer.  However, during the school year I hope to only speak about once or twice a month.  There is a weekend seminar in the works for this Fall and I have a good friend who is working on something big for next Spring (details will be released as plans are finalized) that should definitely "put us on the map."

Do I have any bigger dreams than that?  Of course, I have dreams.  I would love to write some books (got a few great ideas), speak at some major conferences in the future and sell some DVDs from those talks.  However, I am not sure if I am ready for that or if the Lord would like me to do those things.

Will Midwest Apologetics always be a part-time ministry?  I don't know the answer to that question?  We will wait to see what the Lord has in store for us.  There are several God-honoring, Bible-believing ministries out there who are doing a great job in defending the faith.  We do not wish to take away from anything they are doing.  We would like to complement these ministries by faithfully proclaiming the Word of God and defending it from beginning to end.
